Details Emergency Department setting treating combined adult/pediatric patients STEMI and stroke certified facility 1:4 patient ratio Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30) 6 scheduled weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule EPIC charting system used Requirements Active or pending IL RN license required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC CPI certification preferred EPIC charting experience required Prior travel experience required Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, IV medications, CVA, neuro-trauma, ortho-trauma, head injuries, CPAP/BiPAP management, gunshot wounds, traumatic amputation, and triage Additional Information Provide emergency care across a wide range of trauma and medical cases including gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, head injuries, and near drowning Facility is STEMI and stroke certified Navy scrubs required Must be clean-shaven to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions accepted First-time travelers are not accepted for this unit Local candidates within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler without taking a required 6-month break before returning American Traveler Job ID P-747952.
