Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Lankenau Heart Institute

The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Main Line Health is seeking a full‑time Faculty Cardiac Surgeon for our coronary revascularization program. Responsibilities Maintain and grow the cardiac surgical program in collaboration with the cardiac surgical and cardiology teams. Provide coverage of cardiac surgery service, including on‑call duties. Perform coronary revascularization techniques including on‑pump CABG, off‑pump CABG, multi‑arterial grafting, robotic/MID‑CABG, and hybrid CABG/PCI. Lead the VAD and MCS programs. Qualifications Completed an approved fellowship program and certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) or an equivalent foreign certification. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Pennsylvania. Experience in on‑pump, off‑pump, and multi‑arterial CABG. Experience (preferred) in robotic CABG and MID‑CABG approaches. Demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicate with referring physicians, families, and patients. Orientation toward evidence‑based, patient‑centered care and commitment to quality improvement. Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills; significant experience with EMR is a plus.
