Carey and Sons Marine is a family-owned and operated marine dealership in Granbury, Texas, looking for a reliable, hardworking, honest, and customer-focused individual to join our Parts Department!

The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and able to multitask in a busy environment. We need someone who takes initiative, follows through on responsibilities, and is willing to help wherever needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Greet customers professionally and assist with parts purchases, questions, and service needs.
• Check in customers dropping off boats for service, accurately recording customer information, boat details, and service concerns.
• Assist customers and service technicians with identifying, locating, and ordering the correct marine parts and accessories.
• Receive incoming parts shipments, verify orders, check in inventory, label merchandise, and stock shelves.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
• Keep the parts room, shelves, counters, and work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Research parts using manufacturer catalogs, diagrams, and online resources.
• Place special orders, track backorders, and follow up with customers and vendors.
• Communicate with the Service Department to help ensure technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally, take accurate messages, and return calls when needed.
• Process parts sales, invoices, and customer transactions accurately.
• Use dealership management software, including Lightspeed and AimSI, for daily operations.
• Assist with maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Work closely with coworkers and assist in other areas of the dealership as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Previous parts department experience in the marine, automotive, powersports, or similar industry.
• Knowledge of boats, marine engines, accessories, and replacement parts.
• Experience with inventory management, parts ordering, or retail customer service.
• Experience with Lightspeed and/or AimSI is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize boxes and parts safely, with assistance when appropriate.
• Comfortable working in a marine dealership and parts storage environment.

Work Schedule-

• Tuesday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday & Monday: Closed

Saturday availability is required.
