A leading financial services firm is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its growing Legal team in Manhattan on a hybrid schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with trading, capital markets, and business teams on a broad range of transactional, regulatory, and strategic matters. The role reports into senior legal leadership and provides significant exposure to complex trading and financing activities across institutional markets. Key Responsibilities s:Provide legal counsel on derivatives, trading, financing, and capital markets transactio nsDraft, review, and negotiate ISDAs, CSAs, prime brokerage agreements, trading documentation, lending agreements, vendor contracts, and related transactional documen tsAdvise business stakeholders on regulatory requirements impacting trading and market activiti esSupport the implementation of regulatory developments and market structure changes affecting trading business esNegotiate agreements with institutional counterparties, investment managers, financial institutions, and other market participan tsPartner closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, and business teams to identify and address legal and regulatory ris ksManage external counsel relationships and coordinate legal support on specialized matte rsDraft and negotiate confidentiality agreements and other commercial contrac tsAssist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and ongoing legal support across the organizati onUtilize technology and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and legal operatio #J-18808-Ljbffr
