Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

ER Registered Nurse (Emergency Department) travel assignment in Dundee, Kansas. Start date: 09/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Pay: $2,077-$2,219 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to ER patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring Administer medications, IV therapies and other treatments per physician orders; observe and document patient responses Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team; communicate patient status and plan of care; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record Perform ER procedures within scope of practice; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; support rapid disposition decisions Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, activate code protocols as needed, and ensure patient safety and infection control Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and coordinate follow-up care when appropriate Requirements Active RN license in Kansas (or eligibility to practice in Kansas) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER experience with travel experience; 2 years ER experience and 1 year travel experience preferred Floating: Ability to float to units within scope of practice as needed Scheduling: Availability for 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; holidays as unit needs Benefits and Support Bi-weekly pay Virtual orientation (8 hours, no-bill) with credentialing steps Credentialing and onboarding support with an assigned account manager Ongoing assignment support and coordination for travel logistics PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
