Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Michigan
School-based OT experience highly valued
Proficiency in developing and implementing IEP goals
Expertise in fine motor and gross motor skills interventions
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students' needs and design individualized treatment plans
Deliver direct OT services in elementary or high school settings
Document progress according to school and healthcare standards
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student achievement
Utilize teletherapy platforms when appropriate for service delivery
Educate school personnel and families on strategies that promote student independence
