Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Alabama state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; double-booking of follow-up visits expected. (Preferred)
Authorization to work up to 36–40 hours per week; overtime must be approved by the clinic director.
Must be a licensed PT; PTA candidates will not be accepted.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous outpatient clinic experience with orthopedics preferred.
Experience working in travel teams or floating within a regional clinic network is a plus.

Assignment Details
Shift: Days.
Floating to other clinics is not required.
Option to participate in a travel team at this clinic or a neighboring clinic.
36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week; overtime requires director approval.
Productivity expectation: 60 visits per week; typical daily patient load 12–14 with some double-booked follow-ups.
