Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Taco's El Valle. As a Fast-Paced Cook specializing in Mexican cuisine, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and authentic dishes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should thrive under pressure, have a passion for Mexican cuisine, and be able to work efficiently as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more, according to established recipes and standards.
• Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen, ensuring all orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
