We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles, small equipment, and transmission systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and service all vehicles - diesel and gas
- Repair and service small equipment (2 stroke string trimmers/chainsaws) as well as mowers and other power equipment including pressure washers, riding mowers, trenchers, etc.
- Maintain all equipment in fully functional condition and document all service records and work completed on a daily basis
- Responsible for the organization and general cleanliness of yard facility with the assistance of the yard helper
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Qualifications:
- Experience with fleet management - oil changes, filter changes, tire rotation and replacement, brake systems, and documentation of work done to each vehicle
- Driver's license to pick up and order parts as necessary
- Familiar with a broad range of mechanics from 12V electrical, hydraulic lines and cylinders, engines from small 2 stroke to large Cummins diesels
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
