Clerical Assistant 2The Clerical Assistant 2 position with the PA Department of Health, Bureau of Community Health Systems offers a chance for you to support important public health work across local communities. Your work strengthens public health services across the region. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:Call Handling: Answer calls and provide accurate information and referrals based on Department of Health guidelinesProgram Support: Offer clerical assistance for staff who prepare community health education and outreach activitiesResource Management: Maintain organized collections of literature, bulletin boards, and educational materials for public health topicsData Entry: Input case details and clinic information into required systems to support reporting and program trackingSupply Coordination: Order and track clinic supplies and materials to ensure timely and compliant inventory managementClinic Assistance: Provide clerical services for clinics to support smooth operations and clear communication to program staffWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
