About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week day shift contract opportunity in Newport, OR. This role supports patients with acute and chronic wounds, including wounds related to diabetes, surgery, injury, poor circulation, and other conditions.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week day shift contract opportunity in Newport, OR. This role supports patients with acute and chronic wounds, including wounds related to diabetes, surgery, injury, poor circulation, and other conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide wound, ostomy, and continence-focused nursing care
- Support physician-driven wound care treatment plans
- Assess, monitor, and document wound healing progress
- Assist with adjunctive therapies related to vein medicine and hyperbaric medicine
- Educate patients on wound care, prevention, and follow-up needs
- Collaborate with providers and care teams to support safe outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility care standards
- Active Oregon Registered Nurse license required upon submission
- BLS/BCLS required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Minimum 6 months of wound care experience required
- Acute care experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Wound care certification preferred
- Holiday coverage required
- General interview availability must be provided at submission
