About the Role We’re hiring a Senior Tax Accountant on behalf of our client, a well-established public accounting and consulting firm in the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to grow in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with exposure to a wide variety of complex tax matters. The role offers a hybrid schedule, combining in-office collaboration with flexibility. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Assist with annual and quarterly tax projections and related financial analyses Support senior team members in tax planning, strategy development, and research projects Analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting standards Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to enhance client profitability Respond to client inquiries and assist with audits conducted by tax authorities Provide proactive tax planning advice to help clients reduce liabilities while remaining compliant Contribute to the development and implementation of internal tax policies and strategic initiatives Stay current with changes in federal, state, and local tax legislation. What We’re Looking For 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or related tax roles Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations and accounting principles Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting CPA or working toward CPA designation preferred Why Work With Us?
