Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Swiss CNC Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. This position operates Star Swiss-type CNC machines to produce high-quality, precision components according to blueprint specifications.

The right candidate has experience using precision measuring tools, can read and understand blueprints, and takes pride in producing quality parts consistently . We are also open to strong "walk-on" candidates who have the right aptitude, attitude, mechanical ability, and willingness to learn.

English language skills are not required. Translators are available on the plant floor for multiple languages, including Spanish and Vietnamese .

Training & Schedule

• Training: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Assigned Shift After Training: 2nd Shift — 3:15 PM–11:45 PM
• Must be dependable and able to report to work consistently as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Star Swiss-type CNC machines to manufacture precision components
• Monitor machines during production and ensure parts are being produced correctly
• Use micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and print specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
• Identify quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or notify the appropriate team member
• Consistently produce parts that meet quality and dimensional requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures
• Work effectively with team members and support overall production goals

Qualifications

• Experience operating Star Swiss-type CNC machines preferred
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and drop gauges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Previous precision machining or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
• Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• "Walk-on" candidates with strong aptitude and the ability to learn are encouraged to apply

Work Environment & Expectations

• This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a precision machining environment
• Quality and attention to detail are extremely important
• Employees are expected to maintain a professional attitude and work well with others
• Personal cell phone use is not permitted on the plant floor
• Consistent attendance is required
• Multilingual support and translators are available, including Spanish and Vietnamese

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality . You don't necessarily need years of Swiss machining experience if you have the mechanical ability and fundamental skills to succeed.
