Step into a rewarding opportunity serving young learners with communication needs in a supportive school environment. This part-time, contract position focuses on providing speech-language services to students in K-2nd grade. You'll work onsite within a structured, collaborative setting, making a meaningful impact on a small caseload of 9 students each week.

In this role, you’ll utilize your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to deliver high-quality speech therapy, develop individualized education plans, and collaborate with special education teams. Orientation is scheduled for mid-August, and strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply alongside credentialed SLPs with their CCC, provided all license requirements are met.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Illinois SLP License in active status (please prepare to share a screenshot upon request)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL), also active (screenshot required)
• Experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to work confidently with students in K-2 grades
• Strong Clinical Fellows are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans for a small group of students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
• Complete documentation and participate in meetings as needed
• Attend new hire orientation (August 12–14)
• Commit to a consistent, onsite presence (7 hours per week)
