Job Full Description

Quality Control Technician - 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Pay: $20/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join a growing metal manufacturing team . This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards while supporting continuous improvement within the quality system.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection of metal parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Conduct roving quality checks throughout the production floor
Complete dock audits for incoming and outgoing materials
Assist with ISO 9001 documentation, maintenance, and quality system improvements
Utilize CMM equipment and statistical tools for measurement and analysis
Verify production meets blueprint and GD&T requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient QC department
Follow all safety procedures and perform duties with a strong focus on quality
Support internal auditing processes as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Previous quality control experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret GD&T and blueprints
Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools
Familiarity with CMM operation
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) tools
Experience with ISO 9001 standards a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
