We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a civils background to join our team, supporting major works in the Central Belt with travel to site based in Falkirk / Grangemouth. What you'll be doing Key Responsibilities As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting our commercial team, helping to manage costs and maximise value across civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include: Procuring and managing supply chain partners. Measuring, recording, and valuing work in line with project requirements. Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and schedules of rates. Supporting monthly cost reconciliations and value reporting. Working closely with project teams to ensure financial and contractual control. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors. Who we're looking for We’re seeking someone with: A civils background and proven experience in commercial management on civil engineering projects. A degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Drive and ambition, with a focus on achieving results and delivering excellence. Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, ICES or CIOB) would be an advantage. Why join us?
