Job Title Staff Clinician Department Student Counseling Clinical Services Worker Type Temporary (Fixed Term) Pay Type Salary Benefit Eligible No Job Description Summary The Staff Clinician provides a range of mental health clinicalservices, such as evaluations and individual and group counselingto students and consultation services to students, families,faculty, and staff. Job Description Essential Duties Provides counseling services, including general mental health,substance use, and attention problem initial evaluations, andindividual and group counseling and psychotherapy to MiamiUniversity students presenting a wide range of mental healthconcerns. (80%) Intervenes in crisis and emergency situations of a mentalhealth nature with students. (5%) Consults with faculty, staff, and other professionals regardingthe mental health needs of students. (5%) Maintains clinical records and provides clinical documentationand communication with external practitioners as necessary forethical clinical treatment. (10%) Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field; 1-3years of clinical experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Mental Health Counseling skills.
