Position Duties & Responsibilities Serve as the senior technical authority for a defined DCCE domain (e.g., critical facilities, resiliency, or portfolio modernization). Drive the multi-year technical roadmap and standards for the domain; provide design authority on major initiatives. Represent DCCE at senior VA technical forums; brief senior VA leadership on strategy and outcomes. Mentor Advisors and Lead Associates; guide the engineering practice's technical maturity. #VAIEOQualificationsRequirements Currently possess or be able to obtain VA Public Trust — High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4 background investigation. 10 years of related experienceSupervisory experienceDesired Skills, Tools & Certifications Tools: Data center monitoring and management tools including Nlyte Asset Optimizer / Energy Optimizer (DCIM), ServiceNow (ITSM/CMDB), SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, PuTTY, Wireshark, PowerShell, Python, Power BI, MS Visio, and SharePoint. plus AutoCAD, TileFlow familiarity. Processes: ITIL v4 service management, SAFe Agile / Scrum for iterative delivery, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, and OSHA safety practices.; TIA-942, VA Handbook 7002. Certifications (desirable): PE (Electrical or Mechanical), BICSI RCDD, Uptime Institute ATD/ATS, EPI CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, LEED AP, CEM., ITIL v4 Foundation (Practitioner/Managing Professional a plus), SAFe Practitioner or SAFe DevOps. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
