This position will be responsible for establishing a professional relationship with client families to ensure all needs are met at the time of need or on a pre-need basis and all options pertaining to interment, cemetery property, and related merchandise and services exceed the families' expectations. Essential functions include performing duties in a professional and caring manner, providing tours and guides, building relationships, ensuring excellent service, developing potential referrals, ensuring compliance with state and industry regulations, maintaining strict adherence to pricing structures, meeting required timelines, reporting to the Sales Manager, developing new prospects, sustaining positive communication, meeting or exceeding company standards in revenue generation, protecting confidentiality, participating in training initiatives, identifying and responding to hazards, and performing other duties as assigned.

Competencies include communication proficiency, teamwork orientation, detail orientation, thoroughness, customer service orientation, and time management. Required education, experience, certifications, and licensure include a four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred, a proven track record of success in outside sales production strongly preferred, possession of an insurance license as required by applicable state law, a valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record, ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, tact when dealing with complaints, ability to handle multiple projects, and no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Physical demands include climbing, sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, pushing, and pulling. This position may also be exposed to chemicals and/or blood borne pathogens. Travel may require up to 10 percent out of area and overnight travel.
