Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA Outpatient

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00)

Assignment Details

Minimum 1 year experience required. Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Requirements

• PTA License
• BLS certification preferred
• Experience in Acute Care, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Familiarity with crutches, gait belts, prosthetics, and orthopedic post-operative care
• Experience with neurologic conditions including post-stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, and traumatic brain injury

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and report on gains and setbacks
• Provide support and guidance for patients during rehabilitation exercises
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
