The facility operates as an inpatient hospital providing specialized women's imaging services to the community. The department maintains high standards for diagnostic accuracy while serving patients requiring comprehensive breast imaging and screening services. The facility supports efficient clinical workflow with established protocols for quality patient care delivery.

The region offers diverse attractions including Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, a historic Lowcountry estate featuring guided tours through its grounds. Visitors can explore Broadway at the Beach entertainment complex, various historic sites, and participate in nature and wildlife tours throughout the area. North Charleston provides additional attractions and activities, while nearby Pawleys Island hosts community events featuring live music and local cuisine.

The radiologist will provide comprehensive women's imaging services during day shifts in an inpatient setting. Daily responsibilities include interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography studies while managing cases efficiently. The clinician will work Monday through Friday with overtime compensation provided after 8 hours daily and after 168 hours weekly. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment with no call responsibilities.
