Job Description Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response in Florence, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:15 AM - 09:15 AMWed09:15 AM - 07:15 PMThur09:15 AM - 07:15 PMSun01:15 AM - 09:15 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report irregularities or policy violations. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
