About the role The Lab technician is responsible for performing routine and non-routine laboratory tests by preparing samples, operating laboratory instrumentation, recording data, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring accuracy of results within a laboratory setting, following safety protocols and guidelines; their duties may include sample collection, equipment calibration, preparing and reviewing documentation, and completing quality release. Onsite work hours are Monday - Thursday (10 hours). What you’ll do Collect, receive, label, and/or analyze samples using the correct methods and testing equipment. Execute testing in line with standard operating procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings. Record all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format. Ensure that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the workspace. Ensure documentation is completed in an accurate manner according to FDA guidelines. Clean and maintain equipment. Review production records and finished goods for accuracy and conformance. Complete paperwork and enter data in inventory control software based on inspections, document review, final release, and other processes. Complete invoice reconciliation for outsourced testing. Complete additional inspections when necessary. Qualifications Knowledge of FDA Drug Manufacturing Regulations preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems. Ability to work autonomously and under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Keen attention to detail. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
