Subcontractor Installer Windows, Entry Doors & Patio Doors Position Title: Independent Subcontractor Installer
Company: Window World of Boston
Location: Massachusetts
- Install replacement windows, entry doors, and patio doors according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality.
- Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation process.
- Complete interior and exterior finish work as required.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and company staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Identify and report any job site concerns or unforeseen conditions.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and company requirements.
- Take required job-site photos and complete all installation documentation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience installing replacement windows and doors.
- Must operate as an independent contractor and provide proof of business registration.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Own truck, trailer, tools, and equipment necessary to perform installations.
- General liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance (if applicable).
- Ability to read and understand work orders and installation instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and carry windows and doors safely.
- Experience installing vinyl replacement windows.
- Experience with entry door systems and sliding patio doors.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform aluminum trim work and finish carpentry.
