RN - PICU

This position requires working 3 night shifts of 12.5 hours each week, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break. Job Description Join our dedicated team in a Pediatric ICU with 11 telemetry-capable beds, equipped to handle surge capacities. This unit manages critical cases, including respiratory issues, trauma, postoperative surgical recovery, and sepsis. The role involves providing high-level care including intubation, respiratory support, vasoactive drips, central venous lines, and arterial lines. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced pediatric ICU environment. Monitor and manage critical pediatric patients utilizing advanced telemetry capabilities. Administer medication and therapeutic interventions as outlined in care plans. Assist with intubation and respiratory support as needed. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 3 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred. Current certifications: PALS, BLS, PCAR, TNCC required. BSN preferred; CCRN certification is a plus.
