Supervisor SPD - Full Time - Day

The Supervisor of Sterile Processing is responsible for the day to day operation of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD). Duties include scheduling employees, ordering stock, maintaining productivity and infection control data, overseeing tray assembly and case carts. Requires detailed knowledge of surgical instrumentation, decontamination, sterilization and processing. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs; or a minimum of 4 years of total experience in sterile processing at HMH may be accepted. Two (2) years of experience in sterile processing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Licenses and Certifications Required: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPDT).
