Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Understand the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders following company policies. Adhere to cash handling limits and control loss effectively. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons. Stay current with advertisements and promotions. Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures. Identify and report unsafe conditions or accidents. Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of repairs. Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions. Comply with all relevant laws and company policies. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity. Support and assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
