Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00), including every other weekend.

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) will provide respiratory care to patients in a Short Term Acute Care facility. Responsibilities include administering aerosol treatments, managing ventilators, performing arterial blood gas analysis, and assisting in various respiratory procedures. This role requires a strong focus on patient assessment and comfort in critical care environments.

• Administer respiratory care treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy.
• Troubleshoot ventilator issues and alarms.
• Provide education to patients and families about respiratory care.
• Conduct periodic assessments of patients' respiratory status.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, CRT or RRT.
• Ability to float between like units as required.
• Mask fitting and monitoring skills are a plus.
