Position Overview

AM Electric Enterprises is seeking a reliable and organized Remote Appointment Scheduler to coordinate customer appointments, manage scheduling requests, and ensure customers receive timely and professional service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple appointments and priorities in a remote work environment.

The Remote Appointment Scheduler will serve as an important point of contact between customers, field personnel, and the company, helping maintain an efficient and well-organized scheduling process.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel customer appointments.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate appointment times based on customer needs and technician availability.
• Maintain accurate customer and appointment records.
• Communicate scheduling changes and updates to customers and appropriate team members.
• Follow up with customers regarding upcoming appointments and service requests.
• Monitor the daily appointment calendar and identify scheduling conflicts.
• Coordinate with field technicians and management to ensure efficient scheduling.
• Enter and update customer information accurately in company systems.
• Provide customers with clear information regarding appointment times and service procedures.
• Handle scheduling issues professionally and escalate complex concerns when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Perform other administrative and scheduling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, dispatching, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Professional and courteous telephone manner.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with email, calendars, and customer management systems.
• Ability to learn new software and scheduling platforms quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
