This is an excellent opportunity to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative environment while enjoying one of the most desirable locations in the U.S. Coverage Details * Start Date: November 8, 2025 - First rotation is 11/8-11/10 * Duration: Ongoing (locum tenens) * Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM * Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient (hospital call only, no clinic) * Average Call Volume (24 hrs): * 6 phone consults * 3 patients seen * 2 admissions * Call Response Time: 30 minutes Facility Information * Facility: Lower Keys Medical Center Key West, FL * System: Community Health Systems * Beds in Department: 5 * Average Deliveries per Year: 330 * Trauma Level: Not designated * EMR: Medhost * Support Staff: 2 RNs and 1 MA * Privileges Required: Yes (temporary privileges available) * Estimated Credentialing: 21 days * Stroke Certified Hospital: Yes Requirements * License: Active Florida license required (IMLC not accepted) * Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics & Gynecology * Certifications: PALS required; BLS/ACLS/ATLS not required Required Skills * Low- and high-risk pregnancy management * Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) * OB ultrasound viability and targeted (anatomic) * Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section) * Breech and multiple births * Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations * Office/minor gynecology (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, cystoscopy) * Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic minor procedures, ectopic management, cystectomy, ovary removal) Travel & Lodging * Nearest Airport: Key West International Airport (EYW) * Lodging: Hospital-provided condo by Jobble
