Salary Range: $60,900-$62,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. Job Details The Senior Program Manager for the Najim Center will lead innovative entrepreneurship programs that empower students, support startup growth, and strengthen the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. This role will manage high-impact initiatives, including workshops, pitch competitions, experiential learning, and connections to mentors, investors, funding, and community partners. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, entrepreneurial leader who builds strong relationships, takes ownership, and balances program impact, cost, and revenue. Core Responsibilities Develops and manages the scheduling of programs and special events. Develops and manages the production of program materials, ensuring quality and timelines are maintained. Works with supervisor on new program initiatives, to ensure that professional and efficient operation of programs is being met. Coordinates program agreements between the department/College and teaching faculty, corporate clients, faculty, and current and past students. Assists Najim leadership team when submitting proposals for program development and program events. Develops and manages program budgets, ensuring program accounts remain within budget.Performs purchasing, invoicing, and account reconciliations. Manages staff for program operations and logistics. Conducts information sessions for programs, follows up, and tracks conversion rates. Acts as a representative of the Najim Center during all programs, membership associations, and conferences. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Three (3) years of related work experience. This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience leading the design, development, and execution of innovation and entrepreneurship programs that support startup growth, foster cross-functional collaboration, and strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems. Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders, investors, universities, and community organizations to expand innovation initiatives and drive program impact. Experience developing and managing innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives that connect startups with key resources, mentors, funding opportunities, and strategic partners. Track record of cultivating collaborative relationships across public, private, academic, and nonprofit sectors to advance innovation, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem development. Knowledge working with student programming. Experience with student pitch competitions. Knowledge working with higher education programs such as Canvas, Banner, PeopleSoft, and Qualtrics. Thinks like an owner (cost, revenue, impact). Take initiative and ownership. Ability to develop and execute student programming including planning, coordinating, and executing events, and initiatives designed to engage and support student populations. Strong relationship-building skills with experience developing and sustaining strategic partnerships with community stakeholders to advance organizational initiatives.
