Retail District Manager - Las Vegas

Description We are looking for an experienced and professional multi‑unit (retail) District Manager within the Las Vegas, NV market. Qualified applicants can earn $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Pay is based on salary plus applicable monthly bonus based on district performance. About FirstCash FirstCash (also known as First Cash Pawn, Cash America Pawn, Cashland, SuperPawn, and other pawn brands) operates corporate‑owned pawn and retail locations across the United States and six countries. Our District Manager Training program walks you step‑by‑step through every role within field operations—Pawnbroker, Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and District Manager. Earned Wage Access program available to all employees on their second day of employment. Employees can withdraw up to 50% of wages earned up to seven times per payroll cycle. Auto‑enrollment in the FirstCash 401(k) program after six months of employment. Vacation: One week of paid vacation after six months of full‑time service; an additional week after one year; two weeks on each subsequent anniversary; and 120 hours after five years (subject to state/local requirements). Personal/sick time: Eight hours after six months; 16 hours each anniversary thereafter (years 2‑5); and 24 hours after five years (subject to state/local requirements). Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year for full‑time employees meeting minimum program requirements. Employee discounts from the first day of active employment. Position Summary District Managers develop, coach, and lead a team of Store Managers to successfully execute company initiatives and achieve financial results that meet or exceed plan. They facilitate communication between the Regional Manager and Store Managers, ensuring consistency of messaging and championing new company initiatives. This is a non‑exempt position. District Managers can earn a bonus based on district performance, which, along with base salary, depends on location, qualifications and experience. Responsibilities (during training) Directly supervise six to eight Store Managers and coach them to motivate and manage their teams. Develop business partner relationships with Regional Manager, HR Business Partner and Corporate personnel. Build leadership talent throughout the district by partnering with HR and Learning & Development. Recruit proactively from outside the company to improve overall talent. Ensure proper execution of new initiatives and policies. Review district and store performance reports, discuss trends or issues, and coach managers to correct issues or seize opportunities. Ensure good financial results and profitability through customer service and operations fundamentals. Balance monitoring store performance and compliance with on‑site coaching; spend at least 90% of the work week visiting stores. Focus on competitors and growth opportunities; communicate findings to Regional Manager, including possible store start‑ups or acquisitions. Collect and offer feedback on current programs; communicate best practices to Regional Manager. Respond to distinctive features of local districts to achieve best results. Empower Store Managers to be decision‑makers while staying consistent with company strategies. Manage district staffing and move personnel to improve performance or address needs. Build goodwill and relationships within communities in which we operate. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Valid driver’s license and personal transportation to drive frequently throughout the workday. Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds. Willingness and ability to perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified, including being the Responsible Party for FFL locations. Flexibility to work in multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in a multi‑unit environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize, detail‑oriented. Ability to read and analyze financial reports. Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets. Desire and ability to coach and develop others. Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Minimum age 18. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Commission Plan Information The District Manager bonus/incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Details are provided during the interview process. Note Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
