Account Manager, Retail Big Box

As an Account Manager for Retail Big Box at Spectrum, you will manage partnerships with leading retailers, maximize sales opportunities, and ensure Spectrum's brand is represented with excellence. Your expertise will directly influence customer satisfaction and business growth, making a lasting impact on the retail landscape.How You’ll Make an Impact   Manage daily relationships with assigned Big Box Retailers and third-party vendors to maximize sales opportunities and uphold Spectrum's brand standardsExecute strategies, conduct field sales operations, and support partners through audits, training, business reviews, and product knowledge sessionsLead regular meetings and trainings to ensure partners meet sales targets, maintain quality standards, and achieve key performance indicatorsDeliver comprehensive product, promotion, and offering information to partners to drive awareness and salesCollaborate with partner owners to develop and manage growth plans that align with Spectrum’s objectivesWork closely with Operations, Strategy, and divisional teams to ensure departmental alignment and successful implementation of initiativesCoordinate special events, oversee staffing and merchandising, and facilitate sales execution to maximize retail performanceMonitor sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance partner performanceProvide actionable reports and feedback to channel leadership to influence sales strategy and resolve challengesProspect and onboard new business partners to expand Spectrum’s retail footprint and drive incremental salesWorking Conditions   Spend approximately 20 percent of your time in the office and 80 percent in the field with weekly visits to assigned partners and retail locationsParticipate in occasional division-wide travel as requiredWhat You’ll Bring to Spectrum   Required Qualifications   Education  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experienceExperience   5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and trainingSkills   Ability to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishStrong sales presentation and problem-solving skills with demonstrated initiativeEffective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelFlexibility to work retail hours and adjust schedule as needed to maximize sales opportunitiesReliable transportationValid and active state driver’s license with a safe driving recordWillingness to travel frequently within assigned territoryPreferred QualificationsExperience5+ years of strong sales experience with a proven track recordSkillsBilingual is a plus#LI-SS1 SRL202 2026-80740 SRL202 2026 Here, our employees don’t just have jobs, they're building careers.
