TITLE

Technology Support Technician

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

At least 48 hours of college credit in technology/network related courses. Documented experience may be considered in lieu of college hours. Prefer documented experience in computer repair, installation of technology equipment and software. A working knowledge of hardware, software, and network infrastructure

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide end user support while aiding the Network Engineers to maintain the district’s technology, computer assets, and supporting staff in the use of technology. Complete work requests using support ticket system Prioritize work orders Assist Network Engineers with monitoring network Establish and maintain staff and student accounts Monitor HVAC online system and schedule as applicable Act as liaison between school and network engineers Follow purchasing guidelines and procedures for equipment and supplies Assist with website support and updates Maintain a positive working relationship with all administrators Manage technology fixed assets Assist with monitoring of internet safety and security Recommend technology cycled upgrades Act as point of contact for MDE Others duties assigned by supervisor
