Sr. Digital Communications & Marketing Specialist

Description The Senior Digital Communications & Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing digital marketing, social media, customer communication, and content strategies that support sales growth, customer engagement, brand awareness, dealer relations, and corporate initiatives. This role serves as the primary content creator and digital communications resource for the organization, ensuring consistent messaging across all customer-facing channels. The position collaborates with Parts Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources, IT, Operations, and Toro & allied manufacturer partners to create effective marketing programs that drive customer participation, promote products and services, increase digital engagement, and support company growth objectives. What Will You Do? Social Media Management Manage the company's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms. Develop content calendars and posting schedules. Create engaging content to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and follower growth. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer interactions when appropriate. Analyze social media performance metrics and provide monthly reporting. Identify opportunities for paid social media campaigns and audience growth. Monitor and report key performance indicators, including: Social media growth Email campaign performance Digital engagement metrics Content effectiveness Provide recommendations for improving customer engagement and marketing performance. Content Creation Develop original content including: Employee spotlight features Customer success stories and testimonials Product highlights Industry news and educational content Special events and company announcements Video content and photography Blog articles and website content Create visual marketing materials using approved company branding standards. Coordinate content collection from employees, dealers, customers, and business partners. Ensure all communications align with company brand standards and messaging guidelines. Digital Marketing Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that support sales, promotions, seasonal programs, and business initiatives. Create and manage email marketing campaigns, customer communications, and promotional announcements. Assist in developing annual marketing calendars and promotional schedules. Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements based on engagement and sales results. Track digital marketing metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, website traffic, and conversion performance. Evaluate and leverage emerging digital marketing technologies, AI tools, and communication platforms to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Additional Marketing Initiatives Website & E-Commerce Support Dealer Marketing Support Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Brand & Corporate Support Support company-wide communication efforts and employee engagement initiatives. Assist with employee recognition programs and internal marketing campaigns. Create content highlighting company culture, employee achievements, and organizational initiatives. Employees in our Service and Operations departments are eligible for a monthly incentive program based on performance. Requirements What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements: B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field. 5 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, social media management, or related field. Experience with content creation, email marketing, and digital campaign management. B2B, distribution, aftermarket, equipment, turf, golf, or dealer network experience preferred. Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools preferred. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite design tool experience required.
