Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Home Care JFS at Home | Palm Beach County, FL JFS at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing home care team. What You’ll Do As a CNA, you will provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes while promoting independence, dignity, comfort, and safety. Responsibilities include: Assisting clients with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Supporting clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation Assisting with medication reminders as permitted by agency policy Accompanying clients to medical appointments, errands, and community outings Planning and preparing meals while monitoring nutritional needs Performing safe transfers, including the use of gait belts, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, and other mobility equipment as needed Providing companionship and meaningful engagement activities Completing light housekeeping and laundry related to client care Grocery shopping and running essential errands Observing and reporting changes in client condition, behavior, or environment Responding promptly to client needs and emergencies Accurately documenting care provided and client-related activities Following agency policies, care plans, and safety procedures Participating in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Current Florida CNA License in good standing Minimum one year of experience in home care, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare setting Current CEUs as required by the State of Florida High school diploma or equivalent Compassionate, patient, professional, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently in a client’s home Ability to lift, transfer, or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation Current automobile insurance that includes Bodily Injury Liability coverage Experience with Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and short shifts when needed Why Join JFS at Home?
