Material HandlerWe are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Waterman, IL.Responsibilities:Able to lift, push, pull, and bend with up to 25 lbs repeatedly; able to carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.Comfortable with heavy lifting tasks and always use proper lifting techniquesWork well both independently and as part of a teamSort metals and handle materials in a heavy manufacturing environmentAlways follow safety procedures and maintain a safety-first mindsetAble to read and understand metric measurements for sorting and accuracyStand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environmentSafely operate sit-down forklifts and overhead cranesHelp with inventory and keeping track of materials as neededRequirements:1+ year of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment2 years of material handling experienceAble to work well both independently and as part of a teamComfortable lifting heavy items and standing for long periodsFamiliar with reading and understanding metric measurementsExperience operating sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus
