This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting production equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and related industrial equipment.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment such as food & beverage, medical manufacturing, high-precision manufacturing, or heavy equipment manufacturing.Schedule2 Morning Shift openings: 3:30 AM – 1:00 PM1 Afternoon Shift opening: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunchOvertime available based on business needsWeekend work may be required during busy periodsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of industrial production equipment.Diagnose mechanical equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs.Disassemble machinery and repair or replace defective components.Maintain and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, and other mechanical equipment.Perform electrical repairs and installations as needed.Clean, lubricate, adjust, and inspect machinery and equipment.Start up and operate production equipment and lines.Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment is operating safely and properly.Identify and address unsafe equipment or working conditions.Maintain inventory of parts, equipment, and supplies.Order replacement parts with management approval.Support production and maintenance teams during equipment issues or emergencies.Assist skilled trades personnel and maintenance apprentices as needed.Follow OSHA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and other applicable safety requirements.Participate in safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.Support special maintenance projects as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.3–5 years of industrial maintenance/mechanical experience preferred.Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipmentStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Preferred SkillsElectrical troubleshooting/repair experience or electrical license.PLC, low-voltage, and industrial controls knowledge.Welding experience.Forklift certification.Equipment manufacturer certifications.Industrial building/equipment maintenance experience.Experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, and similar equipment.Ideal Industry BackgroundCandidates with maintenance mechanic experience in the following environments are encouraged to apply:Food & Beverage ManufacturingMedical/Pharmaceutical ManufacturingHigh-Precision ManufacturingHeavy Equipment ManufacturingIndustrial ProductionPlease note: This position is primarily focused on industrial machinery and production equipment maintenance.
