Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to inclusive, student-centered instructional practices
  • Flexibility to adapt to multiple school schedules (middle schools: 7:00-3:30; elementary schools: 8:00-4:30)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Monitor and document student progress toward educational goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
