Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will operate within a supportive and innovative environment. You will collaborate daily with a small team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a dynamic workplace culture that prioritizes teamwork and effective communication. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a consistent routine that allows you to deliver quality care while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' objectives and needs in orthopedic rehabilitative care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies and therapeutic modalities.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and effective treatment sessions that maximize healing and recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop exercise regimens tailored to improve strength, mobility, and functionality.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary, and maintaining thorough documentation of all patient interactions and interventions.
• Encourage patients in completing their rehabilitation goals to maximize their physical abilities and independence.
• Engage with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance the overall quality of care through collaborative efforts.
• Adopt a preventative approach to care, minimizing reliance on medications and potentially invasive surgical procedures for our patients.
• Contribute to health promotion by educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices that promote strength, balance, and flexibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with private medical insurance, often dealing with orthopedic issues that affect their mobility and day-to-day functioning. This environment fosters personalized attention and allows you to cultivate long-standing therapeutic relationships with each patient.

Qualifications

You must possess the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• A valid and clean license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software platforms like WebPT is beneficial, as well as adept manual therapy skills.

Compensation and Benefits
