Job Description
Title : ICU Nurse

Schedule : 22 to 26-week contract, 7a-7p/7p-7a - 3x12s, must run through holidays/January, end date flexible.

Assignment Details :
- Contract Weeks: 27

Requirements :
- License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse.
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
- Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrates professional behavior and effective communication, ensuring safety and promoting dignity and respect.

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with unit protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care planning and execution.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting necessary changes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Compliance / Notes :
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include Emergency Nurses Association and TNCC within 2 years of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism.
