The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Critical Care physicians.
• Current IL state license is a plus.
• Visa Candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents desired.

The Practice

HSHS St. John‘s Hospital – Springfield, Illinois

• 450-bed facility and a primary teaching hospital for the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
• Level I Trauma Center with a 54-bed closed ICU and 22 ED beds.
• Annual volume of 20,000 with 2-3 admits per day per intensivist and 3-5 admits per night per intensivist.
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation.
• Full roster of sub-specialty backup excluding dermatology, transplant, and hepatology.
