PYG Therapy is hiring Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our growing pediatric home health team throughout Arizona.

Compensation & Opportunities

• Occupational Therapist: $64–$92 per hour
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant: $46–$75 per hour
• Compensation varies based on experience, geographic area, and employment classification
• Full-time, part-time, and independent contractor opportunities available

Position Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist with PYG Therapy, you will:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in their homes
• Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Educate caregivers and family members on techniques and strategies that support progress between visits
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide updates regarding patient progress, goals, and treatment recommendations
• Participate in care planning and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Provide supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), if applicable

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

As a COTA with PYG Therapy, you will:

• Provide occupational therapy treatment services to pediatric patients in the home environment
• Carry out treatment plans and therapeutic activities established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Document treatment sessions, patient participation, and progress toward goals
• Support children in developing functional skills that promote independence and participation in daily activities
• Educate caregivers on home strategies and activities that reinforce therapeutic progress
• Communicate regularly with supervising therapists regarding patient performance, concerns, and treatment recommendations
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with children, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

Scheduling Flexibility

We understand that every clinician's availability is unique. PYG Therapy offers flexible scheduling options designed to accommodate a variety of professional and personal schedules.

Available options include:

• W-2 employment opportunities
• 1099 independent contractor opportunities
• Custom caseloads ranging from approximately 8–25 visits per week
• Service opportunities throughout Arizona

Required Qualifications

Occupational Therapist

Applicants must possess:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license (OT, OTR, OTD, OTR/L, or MSOT)
• Current CPR certification
• AHCCCS ID
• Article 9 certification
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Applicants must possess:

• Active Arizona Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) license
• Current CPR certification
• Article 9 certification
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

Preferred Experience

• Pediatric therapy experience
• Home health experience
