Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, no call requirements, 13-week seasonal contract

Highlights:

• 32-bed Level IV Labor and Delivery unit serving high patient volumes
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• Full range of obstetric procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• State-of-the-art equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, and ultrasound technology
• Meditech EMR system
• Collaborative team of 150 staff members with dedicated charge and co-charge nurse support on every shift

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), sterile vaginal exam (SVE), and C-section circulation
• Internal monitor placement competency preferred
• Experience in Level IV or high-volume obstetric units preferred
