Physical Therapist

Job Title: Physical Therapist Salary Range: $40-43 per hour Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Location: 110 bed skilled nursing facility About the Facility: We are a 110 bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We offer post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation services as well as long-term and respite care. Our team of healthcare professionals is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and helping them achieve their maximum level of independence. Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a P-Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities and injuries. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing care to our residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for continued improvement and injury prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Stay current with advancements in the field of physical therapy and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
