Role Description:

Healthy Living is seeking an experienced Staff Experience Specialist to join our People & Experience Team and will be based out of both South Burlington and Williston, Vermont. The Staff Experience Specialist is the face of Healthy Living for all staff members—a role model who handles day-to-day P&E tasks with precision, care, and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have a passion for staff happiness, a strong background in employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, employment labor law, benefit and wellness programing, and be comfortable working directly with leadership teams.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns
• Acts as a resource for staff regarding questions, comments and inquiries on all P&E policies, procedures, mediations, and offerings
• Collaborates on process improvement initiatives within the P&E department
• Provide guidance on P&E policies and procedures
• Administer wellness and staff recognition programs
• Manage workers' compensation claims and processes
• Conducts New Hire Orientations
• Handle terminations and offboarding with professionalism, empathy, and care

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in employee relations or another related HR role
• In-depth knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices
• High emotional intelligence
• Ability to have critical conversations with staff at all levels of the organization
• Self-management and an ability to remain calm under any stressful situation
• Approachability; works effectively and relates well with others
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems

Pay Statement

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with a minimum and maximum starting range of $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
