Build assigned tooling based on work requirements, utilizing drawings and customer specifications Ensure quality and safety standards in the manufacturing environment Collaborate with team members and management to fulfill production needs Requirements Toolmaker certification or equivalent experience 8+ years in a toolroom or machine shop High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred Knowledge of shop mathematics and the use of tools for measuring such as micrometers, calipers and gauges Able to read blueprints and layout / set up tools accordingly Able to use overhead crane and drive powered industrial truck Skilled in the use of mills and lathes and power tools such as surface grinders, including MIG / ARC weld as needed Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in toolmaking with a strong focus on quality and safety standards in manufacturing. Proficient in reading blueprints, utilizing precision measuring tools, and operating machinery to meet production requirements.
