As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Day/Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Day/Time Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving locations, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. A state, county, or city-issued license to perform security-related duties is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
