Qualifications:
- Active Texas state plumbers/pipefitters license.
- Current OSHA certification.
- The employee must be a journeyman pipefitter with at least four (4) years of experience
- Ability to read blueprints and perform work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and established safety practices.
- Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors, including in basements, kitchens, and manholes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems, including water distribution, drainage, sterilizers, laundry and dietetic equipment, steam systems, and medical gases.
- The employee must be a journeyman pipefitter with at least four (4) years of experience, capable of reading blueprints and following standard codes and safety practices.
- Work is assigned by a foreman but carried out independently with occasional spot checks, and the employee may supervise helpers when needed.
- The job requires frequent physical exertion - standing, bending, and working in cramped areas - with exposure to cuts, bruises, odors, and infectious risks.
