About the Role

The Company is in need of an Interim Dean of Medicine to spearhead a critical stabilization and transformation initiative within a prominent academic medical institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to address operational, financial, and accreditation priorities during a significant leadership transition. This role involves partnering with executives, faculty, and administrative leaders to enhance governance, accountability, and implement sustainable operational and financial improvements. The Interim Dean will also drive accreditation readiness, foster a culture of collaboration, and ensure regulatory compliance and institutional performance. Ideal candidates for the Interim Dean of Medicine position at the company are accomplished physician executives with a strong background in senior academic medicine leadership. The role requires a candidate with a successful track record in accreditation and organizational turnaround, as well as the ability to build trust and lead complex change. Applicants must hold an MD and have an active MD license. The Interim Dean will be expected to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance, and the assignment is anticipated to last 1-2 years.
